How much does a custom platform cost?
It depends on scope, integrations, and timeline, so rates are discussed per project. After a short discovery call you get a written proposal with scope, milestones, and a fixed quote or a monthly retainer option.
Can you build multi-tenant SaaS with separate data per customer?
Yes. Tenancy is decided at the architecture stage — shared schema with tenant scoping, schema-per-tenant, or database-per-tenant — based on your compliance needs, customer size, and expected growth.
Which database do you use — PostgreSQL or MongoDB?
Whichever fits the data. Relational, transactional data (billing, bookings, ledgers) usually goes to PostgreSQL; flexible documents and event-style data often suit MongoDB. Redis handles caching, sessions, and queues in both cases.
Can you take over or rebuild an existing platform?
Yes. I start with a codebase and infrastructure review, then recommend either incremental fixes or a staged rebuild that keeps the current system running until the new one is ready.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code lives in your repository and infrastructure runs in your cloud accounts from the start. Intellectual property transfers as agreed in the proposal once milestones are paid.
