Problem
Tax filing is deadline-driven: most users arrive in the same few weeks, upload sensitive documents, and cannot afford a failed submission. The platform had to stay correct and available exactly when load is highest.

Solution
I built a Next.js front end on a Node.js/Express API with MongoDB, a React admin panel with audit tracking, secure document upload, automated tax computation and validation, and status notifications — deployed and operated on cloud infrastructure I set up.

Outcome
In production for a licensed e-Return Intermediary, serving thousands of users daily and carrying ITR-deadline peaks. I continue to maintain and extend it.
Context
FileMyReturn is an income tax filing platform operated by a licensed e-Return Intermediary (ERIP001268). It serves thousands of users daily, with traffic concentrated around India's ITR filing deadlines.
I built the platform with Next.js on the front end, a Node.js/Express API, and a React admin panel — covering the user dashboard, secure document management, tax computation and validation, notifications, and admin oversight for individuals and CA firms.
